ART03 - THE Z-BRA Hand Beaded Zebra Skin Bra

THE Z-BRA:Love the Skin You're In...this piece was inspired by a Zebra I photographed at Taronga Park Zoo in Sydney.

The idea was to encourage all women to just be happy within our own skins and to be vigilant with those essentail regular health check ups (you know what they are!!)

I used the pattern that appeared on the zebra's pelt to hand bead this stunning bra. For that extra bit of bling there are Swarovski Crystals in the centre and Swarovski Crystals along the straps and underwires.

The plain black bra was from the Elle MacPherson range...I wonder what she would think of it now!!

This piece is currently in the TOP 50 designs nominated by the 2008 BEADS ETC Australian Designer of the Year Competition. You can vote for your favourite design from the Competition on their website.
